About Us

Pleasant Hills Roller Hockey League (PHRHL) is a roller hockey organization located in Pleasant Hills, PA. PHRHL begin in the summer of 1995 and was organized by a group of local parents who wanted an additional option for hockey for their children that was local, affordable, and emphasized fun. After a lot of hard work, the Route 51 borough park transformed into the Pleasant Hills Roller Hockey Court and players and their families have been making roller hockey memories ever since!

The league has several divisions for ages 4-18 (entering 12th grade). The teams play on an outdoor sports court rink and play in a 4 on 4 style with a ball. PHRHL is a recreational league that strives to ensure every player has fun and learns a few things along the way!

Goalies also have the opportunity to identify as a "goalie only" if they prefer.

Each team will have an average of 10 players and be assigned a coach and assistant coach. Following 2 weeks of practices, teams participate in 9 games and a fun playoff weekend.

PHRHL Summer Season Information

Pleasant Hills Roller Hockey League (PHRHL) Summer 2026 Season Information:

The Learn to Play Division is for new skaters and those players without prior experience ages 4-8 years old.
The divisions (Mites, Bantams, Juniors) are for those players in grades entering 1st through entering 12th.
Mites is 7-11 years old
Bantams is 12-17 (18 if entering 12th grade in the fall of 2026)
*Please note that if a player wishes to play up a division, they may. Families may also register a player in both Learn to Play and Mites if they wish. Please contact Emily ([email protected]) to discuss.

The season runs from the week of May 11, 2026 to the week of July 26th, 2026, with the playoff picnic scheduled for Saturday, July 25th, 2026 ( rain date Sunday, July 26th, 2026).

The league will run with either 2 or 3 divisions (Mites, Bantams, and Juniors) depending on the number of players registered. Practices and games will be played at the PHRHL League Court (Route 51 Park, Pleasant Hills, PA 15236) and are slotted for 6:00pm, 7:00pm, and 8:00pm. Tentatively, the Mites will play on Monday evenings, Learn to Play will play on Tuesday evenings, and Bantams will play on Wednesday evenings. If needed, Juniors will play on Thursday evenings. Rain make ups will be played on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The addition of the Juniors division will be determined at the close of registration.

All players will have 2 practices, 9 games, at least one playoff game, and end of season gift. Learn to Play participants will earn a trophy and the first place team in each division will earn a PHRHL medal.
