ABOUT THE PHRHL
The Pleasant Hills Roller Hockey League is a community-based non-profit inline hockey league based in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. It not only serves the borough of Pleasant Hills, but all surrounding communities. We have divisions for ages 7 through adult and, over the past two-plus decades, have helped thousands of kids develop a passion for the greatest sport on earth.
The league got its start in 1995 - founded by some of the same Pleasant Hills families that are still involved today. Our mission is simple: provide a safe, open and fair environment for players of all skill levels. Whether you're a beginner or just looking for something to do to keep you ready for your ice season - there's a place for you here.
We've called the same rink home from the start, located across from the Pleasant Hills Fire Company on Route 51, behind the AAA building. Although its been resurfaced a few times over the years, we have retained the same asphalt surface and chain link fence that makes our brand of roller hockey unique.
Sign ups are done individually or as buddies - but no more than 2 players can sign up together. Teams are determined by a blind draft and the season runs from Late May through Early August. Sign ups usually close sometime in mid-April with the draft quickly following.
